Kren of the Mitchegai

i have only read half of this book, the Kren half, bought it not realizing it was the 3rd in a series so i avoided the half with the ongoing human charactors.

Kren, his race and his society are one of the most interesting, original and logical alien races created recently, Frankkowski manages to make you like a person who eats his own children and markets them too.
