Not the best. I loved reading about Gussie the Goose, but this was very different then most of the Animal Ark books. There is usually a sick/hurt/distressed animal that needs saving, and the book focuses on *saving* the animal, and there's a tense feeling of "omg will he make it?" the entire time. Not this book. This was all about trying to fix this mistake and getting the goose back from this mean man who was going to eat the poor goose. There was goose kidnapping and goose wrangling, but it just wasn't as good as the normal "have to save this injured animal" plot.

One thing really irked me about the plot, too. Aren't there laws against stealing an animal? I mean yes, it was a mix-up, and the guy did win a goose in the raffle, but he show more didn't win *Gussie*. I mean, it'd be like if someone took my dog and auctioned him off at a raffle... just 'cause you win doesn't mean you'd get to keep the stolen dog. There was a mistake made, and the goose that was taken was *not* for sale/raffle. There should've been something the police could've done. show less
