Revised from an 1980s book, Horowitz tells 4 stories of legends from around the world with humour and gore abounding. I particualrly liked the twist at the end of "Given to the Sun" the Inca legend and kicked myself that I should have seen it coming! There's a bit of "oohh yuck" with regards to how the Minotaur was created - Queen Pasiphae's union with a bull! - but apart from that cringe-worthy moment, the stories are very good.
