David Beckham

This primarily is a picture book. This isn't a huge read but for any David Beckham football fan this is a must. The picture's related to Beckham's playing career and deals with the photos through the 20 years of playing for a variety of clubs. There are a few pictures of family and other times but the majority are from great footballing moments. I am a huge Beckham fan and have followed his career through all the clubs he played for. I thoroughly enjoyed the antidotes that he shared with his readers and the photos of the footballing moments in his career. A thoroughly enjoyable book.… (more)

a short story about two boys (twins) who both enjoy football. James is very good at football and knows it thus making his brother, Adam, feel totally inferior in his game skills. When Adam learns to have faith in himself he realises that he has jsut what it takes to play the game and play it really well. At the end James apologises for his poor behaviour and attitude towards his twin and like most stories they go on to play the game of their lives..
A great read for boys who enjoy soccer / football and the encouragement of team play.… (more)
