About the Author

Carla Capalbo was brought up in New York, and has also lived in Paris and London, where she ran her own catering company. She began her career in publishing as a cooking editor, and progressed to writing and styling her own books. Carla has been a regular contributor to various magazine supplements show more of the New York Times, including Entertaining, Good Health and The World of New York. Carla now lives in Italy, where she continues her work in food styling and writing. She has co-authored a book on American regional cooking, The Best of America Cookbook. show less

This is much more than a cookbook and paints a vivid picture of Georgia and Georgians. The exploration of food-ways, winemaking, history and culture of Georgia is exceptional.
