Sicilian American writer and tango dancer extraordinaire Camille Cusumano visits today, en route to a mini-Tango festival in Port Townsend. Her book, Tango: An Argentine Love Story (Seal Press), tells the story of how an initial, brief tango vacation brought her to a deep appreciation of Argentina, and an intense engagement with what she calls the "parallel practices" of tango and Zen. Camille Cusumano's work has been published in The New York Times, Washington Post, and Country Living. She is also known for her food writing (www.camillecusumano.com) and her video work, Tango Around the World, shot in Buenos Aires with Martin Jacovella. (KingRat)
