A really great nut-and-bolts guide to monster alteration and creation. Although most of the book is a series of templates (some really good, others probably unnecessary) what this book really does is show you how to make a monster with charts and sidebars covering how to use the templates, how to make a template, and how to scale a monster's height, weight, and physical attacks when changing it's size. (To this last end, one size category is added to each end of the existing size scale.) Really a game designer/tinkerer's dream.… (more)
