while i thought the plot was very interesting(the animal experimentation and the way humans treat animals in general), i just couldn't stand the writing style of this author and won't be reading any more of his books.
Fascinating novel and my only criticism would be that there is sometimes too much blood and gore for my tastes. The detective is a cat, so only suitable for those who can cope with that. Strange and dark tale.
The cat detective takes another outing. Lots of fun and entertainment, so long as you can suspend belief.

I found the concept of the book interesting but I figured out who was the murderer before it was revealed. There were obvious ties to the Nazi philosophy of ethnic cleansing and that was interesting too but forced in my view.… (more)
