Examination of the Rev. Mr. Harris's Scriptural… by James Ramsay

Author offers arguments against a previous author who had defended the British slave trade to the West Indies in the late 18th century on a Biblical basis. This is good contemporary evidence of how even the most evil practices can find support in the Bible--and you can usually find arguments against them as well. This foreshadows the arguments of US Southerners for the justness of slavery.
