The fun facts throughout the book spark the children’s interests. The main idea is supported through a glossary of words in the back the book. This is a nice book that give the reader vague infromation about different sea monsters, including Nessie and the Krakan. I guess the book is fine for a young kid just starting to learn about this type of thing, but it is very vague and doesn't even touch on all the 'proof' out there for sea monsters.
