Minrs 2 is the sequel to Minrs. The kids learn that another group of "Landers", are coming, so they prepare to defend the asteroid and each other. Lots of things go wrong, a few people die, but the kids are victorious and they prepare to head back to Earth. I love this book because it's a great sequel. It improves on the first book and keeps with a great plot. It's twists and turns will keep you reading for hours!

This book is about a space colon on an asteroid near earth. There is a small mining settlement, but it was attacked by pirates for the valuable ore that earth needs. A few kids are trapped underground, and they are the only ones who can stop the pirates. I love this book for many reasons. It's a simple, yet engaging series, and it had me hooked for quite awhile. If you like action/adventure books, don't miss Minrs!

In the beginning, the Minrs are still stranded on Perses, but they are making the final preparations to leave. They plan to take a video of Thatcher killing a grinder to Hans Melming to expose the corrupt company After leaving, they discover that Thatcher is still alive, and he tries to take control of the ship, but the Minrs foil him. After landing on the surface, they are caught in a battle between the grinders and Melming Mining, so they escape in their digger without Pavel. Eventually, after a few run-ins with Melming Mining, they discover Melming's cabin and convince him to use his broadcast system to show the world the footage, and Thatcher, who has just arrived, threatening to kill many people. after Thatcher is finally killed, the Minrs recover in the hospital and reminisce about the future.

I would recommend this book and the other two in the series for anyone who wants a good fiction series to read. The plot is not too simple or complicated. There are plenty of pages, and the formatting makes it easy to read for long periods of time.
