Casseroles are my favorite type of meal and cooking. Casseroles are no fuss and usually use few pots and pans. There are everything from brunches to sides to meatless meals to good old fashioned suppers in this book. There are many full color photos for those who like that sort of thing. The only problem is that some of the ingredients are hard to find, or may no longer be in production. But, on the whole, a nice spiral bound cookbook. I love spiral bound as they lay flat while in use.

I've been looking for some recipes that would truly taste like the dishes that Grandma used to slave over the old hot cook stove for. This is about the best I've found yet!

Yummy chicken and dumplings, stews made with beef, lamb, meatballs, casseroles, pastas and turkey!
I have already made the chicken and dumplings, and look forward to making every single one of the rest of the recipes in this wonderful 94-page hard-back book.

I got this book for a steal in a local thrift shop for only $1. It's already paid for itself in yummy goodness! And the recipes are super easy, and straightforward. No guessing!

All are made in your convenient slow cooker!

I give this book five stars and my thumbs up!

Cakes you would actually make! I would prefer a photo of every recipe, but they don't do to poorly with nearly a picture per every two cakes. Recipes include fancy cakes, trifles, cupcakes, cookies, pan desserts... all starting with a cake mix. It also has a fairly comprehensive section in the front with basic tips and vocabulary. One of the most usable cookbooks I've gotten all year!

This book is fabulous for kids and adults who enjoy classic fairy tales. It is written for both to read aloud together and get the maximum pleasure out of it.
