Written in the 1940s by Geraldine Bailey, Marguerite Henry, and Lois Donaldson. This series page is only for the books illustrated by Kurt Wiese.The countries of the First Series are: Alaska, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Mexico, Panama, West Indies. The Second Series countries are Bolivia, Ecuador, Greenland, Guatemala, Honduras, Iceland, Peru, Venezuela. The Third Series countries are Colombia, Costa Rica, Guiana, Newfoundland, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Salvador, Uruguay.
