About meI have been reading since before I can remember. I don't even remember learning, and no one can remember who taught me. I've also wanted to be a writing since I was, I think, seven.

About my libraryMy library should be much bigger than it currently is. Unfortunately, moving often meant that there were only so many books I could keep. No that I'm stationary I'm trying to rectify that. Most I read fantasy but have also deleved a bit into sci-fi and romance (reluctantly). I have very few books not found in those sections

HAHA can only hope for a romance for Robert- I am behind in my reding on LK website. I have been under the weather, so I plan to finish Jamie's story and get right into Alex's tonight.
Regarding Robert, I was just really sort of smitten with Robert both books he has appeared in. I sense he was much older in both books, but surely was a young charmer at some time in his chivalous life!
I saw it yesterday, doesnt it look beautiful and it sounds so exciting. At first I thought of Robert, the piper who ahd all his fingers broken, but that was a different Robert. I have to saw that would ahe been poignant, however. It will be ahrd to wait. I havent gotten The Mage's Daughter yet, though. I feel like I need to go back and reread Star of the Morning again. Have you read TMD?
I know you will love it!!!!
Oh, Amanda, I see you dont have Liz Curtis Higgs book,My Heart's in the Lowlands: Ten Days in Bonny Scotland listed- a great travel log. YOu feel like youre right there with her every step of the way. I am also expecting a book from Amazon this week-"My Love Affair with England: A Traveler's Memoir"
Susan Allen Toth: Not that I am planning to take in England on my trip, I do love it and after Higg's book, I really love good travel logs. You might want to check these out!

I haven't read any of Lynn Kurland. I'm definitely going to have to try that.

Scotland was fantastic. My best friend and I spent 10 days touring the center of Scotland - Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness. Someday, our next trip will be the Highlands and the Islands. I'm sorry I never did a study abroad-thing when I was in school.
Hello, Amanda, HAHAH! Yes, since YOU posted about LT on LK's site I've been so busy here I havent had time to continue reading our dear ADTT book. I really enjoy connecting with folks with like interests and discovering new authors, espeically in Scottish everything!!! I am so enamored with scotland- probably brought on by my love for LK's books. Now I really satuate myself with info as I am planning a lengthy sojourn there. In a few years when my dh retires. Yippee!!
Aye, I do love Scotland. I've only gotten there once. How about you? I'm reluctant to admit to reading romance, but I find it a great escape. I've just recently gotten around to reading Tamora Pierce (Terrier, and I love it!
Hello,Amanda! So fun to find another Kurland fan. Do you go to her website to chat? There is a rather active board there where we discuss her books! I am doing the rereads on the McLeod's now, just started Dance Through Time for about the 4th time. I just love them all, though!!! Carolyn
