About meMy sig says it all: Librarian by profession, reviewer by avocation, reader by addiction. Much of what I read is fantasy and science fiction, but I enjoy mysteries, an occasional romance and history, too. My only problem is I get so many new books to read now, I cannot re-read the old ones as much as I would like.

And as my icon shows, I like snow!

About my libraryRuns heavily into fantasy and science fiction, but my husband balances this with his large collection of airplane books.

Oh my God! Behind the scenes at the LoC! I'm there! Well, on second thoughts, perhaps you should wait till you read The Book on Fire before you extend the offer. I'll be very interested in what you make of the book: it's all about texts/preservation (and its opposite)/bibliomania/cataloguing.
Hi Coruca - this is Keith Miller, author of The Book of Flying and fellow denizen of Library Thing. I saw your lovely review, and wanted to let you know that my second novel, The Book on Fire, is out. It's about a debauched book thief who arrives in Alexandria (Egypt, not your Washington 'burb!) to steal from the fabled library, and winds up falling in love with a librarian. It's available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Powell's, etc. You may also want to check out my website: millerworlds.com.
