About meI am the headmaster of a private school in Japan. I studied classics (Latin and Greek) at university and have a law school degree and two other advanced degrees. I am originally from Kentucky. I love books so much that for the past thirteen years I have paid sixty dollars a month to a self-storage facility in the United States rather than sell my books or give them away.

About my libraryMy actual library is eclectic. I have quite a lot of classical writing, including most of the Loeb classical library. I have collected many of my books in a thematic way. For instance, I have an extensive collection of books written in prison. I have also collected novels whose narrators are unreliable. I tend to prefer fiction to non-fiction. When I was at university, I won an award for having the "best undergraduate library".
