About meI love books. But then, that's kind of a given on LibraryThing.

Though I don't look a thing like her, my icon's of Nenene Sumiregawa of R.O.D. the TV, an anime series about bibliophiles with superpowers. Nenene doesn't have superpowers, but she does have writer's block, wears glasses, and is kind of cranky. I can identify with all of those things.

About my library"Book lovers will understand me, and they will know, too, that part of the pleasure of a library lies in its very existence." -Jan Morris

I'm in the process of getting my books out of storage and adding them to my LibraryThing catalog. I only enter books I have in hand in my library, which means that if they're in storage, then they're not listed here. It'll be interesting to see how many books I have once I get them all entered.

Thanks for the comment re Li-Young Lee. I've never heard him read – I first came across his work in Eileen Tabios's "Black Lightning", and have loved his work ever since. Presumably he's a good reader of his own work?

Just wanted to say thank you for being so thoughtful in your choices for the Santa thing. I really appreciated it and look forward to reading them.
