About meLindsay Lusby is a poet, letterpress printer, bookbinder, typewriter-enthusiast, small press advocate, and avid tea-drinker. She helped to launch the first annual Chestertown Book Festival in 2009 and then the second in 2010. At home, she operates a Chandler & Price Pilot printing press under the name Thread Lock Press. Her poems have appeared in Tinderbox Poetry Journal, Third Point Press, Sugar House Review, The Lumberyard, Fairy Tale Review, and elsewhere, and is forthcoming from North Dakota Quarterly. Her chapbook Imago was published by dancing girl press in 2014. With Jehanne Dubrow, she co-edited The Book of Scented Things: 100 Contemporary Poems about Perfume, a new poetry anthology from the Literary House Press. She recently won the 2015 Fairy Tale Review Poetry Contest for her poem “Forestry (parts 1-3),” judged by Joyelle McSweeney. Her literary interests include contemporary poetry, postmodern fiction, and folk and fairy tale scholarship. She is the Assistant Director of The Rose O'Neill Literary House at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland where serves as assistant editor for the Literary House Press and managing editor for Cherry Tree.
