This season is the 10th anniversary of the One Book, One Chicago program. The book chosen for this Fall is The Adventures of Augie March by Saul Bellow. As usual there will be many events taking place throughout Chicago. I am not planning to read it. Whi is?

I've read others in the One Book program and enjoyed them, so I'm going to be tempted to read this one. Way back when an out-of-state college roommate was assigned it and thought it was really good, so that influences me, too. Plus I've never read any Saul Bellow.

I think I'll be reading it, and hope I can attend a discussion or two.
