Just read a line in a poem that jumped out at me, and wasn't sure what to do with it... so thought I'd stick it here. Feel free to add your own.
"...we lift our gazes, not to what stands between us but what stands before us."
"...we lift our gazes, not to what stands between us but what stands before us."

And just for good measure, from a song:
"One day I know
We'll find a place of hope
Just hold on to me"
"One day I know
We'll find a place of hope
Just hold on to me"

And now, something completely different ...

Say I'm weary, say I'm sad,
Say that health and wealth have miss'd me,
Say I'm growing old, but add
Jenny kiss'd me.

My dad wasn't much for poetry, but for some reason he had that whole poem memorized, possibly from his GI Bill intro to English class... "Jenny kiss'd me when we met / Jumping from the chair she sat in. / Time, you thief, who love to get / Sweets into his list, put that in. /... Say..."
I type it from memory - have I got it right?
