Flickr embed image issues

I had been embedding images in my discussion threads with the Flickr embed code. Suddenly, Library Thing will not allow me to save anything new with the code or update a thread that has the code in it (although it will continue to show the image if it has been previously saved). Any idea on what is going on? I'd like to add a book to a list of books read in a certain category in the category challenge, but I'm either going to have to add all the category images to the LT gallery or remove the images entirely (which I don't want to do) if the issue cannot be resolved.

Well, you can add book covers and images to the junk drawer for linking to threads.

>2 gilroy: These are images that correspond to my categories--not book jackets. I'm not sure what you mean by "junk drawer." I know I can add the images to my own gallery.

Your gallery has two parts: the Member Gallery and the Junk Drawer. Images you add to the MG are visible to all. Those in your JD are not.

>4 lilithcat: Thanks. I'd still prefer to be able to use the Flickr embed code so I don't have to upload photos to two places. I don't understand why all of a sudden it just quit working.

It's the javascript bit in the Flickr embed code. It used to work and now it doesn't.

ETA:

Working w/o the javascript:

After you paste the Flickr code, remove
<$cript async src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js" charset="utf-8"></$cript>

$ = s since javascript can't be posted to Talk.

Thanks! That resolved the problem.
