The story that began in volume 3 of the hardcovers continues in volume 4. I am not going to spoil if, but I will say that Kirkman delivers more shock and tragedy. The ending will move you. In between, the drama and stories of the survivors continue. Again, the best part of this series is how Kirkman draws you in. Once you pick them up, you just have to continue until the end. ( )

This series is superb - but I am not a fan of the Governor so this is not my favorite part. That ending though... wow. ( )

I gotta say, the Governor in the show is a lot tamer than the one in the comics. There are no words to describe how much I hate his character, he's so vile and horrible. I kind of enjoyed the shock factor of pretty much half of the prison group dying, including the death of Lori and Judith. If they could just implement at least some of the events at the end of this volume into the show, I'd be pretty satisfied. ( )

Just when you think everything is finally going to be ok... BAM. It's not! Things just get progressively worse for the survivors of the zombie apocalypse. The sad thing is the zombies aren't even the scariest thing out there anymore, sometimes it's just the other people. For mature audiences, this series continues to get darker and more gruesome. For fans of the tv show and zombies. ( )

It's really hard to "like" a book that keeps killing off so many characters, but that's sort of what it's all about so I can't really complain either. Really not sure what's going to happen now... ( )
