But, then again, the subject could take up volumes as there is much to be said — of substance. An "OK" introduction. JND Kelly is much better. ( )Why read the church fathers; who to read and what editions are available; help in understanding where the church fathers are coming from. This is meant to be an introduction that encourages and helps non-theologians and beginning theology students to read the fathers for themselves. Obviouysly reading this book is only the first step. no reviews | add a review
