By far my favorite Graphic Novel series ever. The final volume absolutely brought tears to my eyes. Fantastic series as a whole! ( )

This just keeps getting crazier and crazier. This one focuses mostly on the past. We finally find out how Dodge became evil! Very sad and bloody. Ending definitely creepy with the look "Bode" gives in the panel. Wonderful all around and graphics are awesome as well. ( )

When Kinsey and Tyler find a key and a clock that allow them to travel back in time and view past events at Keyhouse, they start to unravel the mysteries of the keys.

This penultimate volume serves as a denouement, allowing readers to finally see how the keys were forged, how Dodge came to be their adversary, and what's so important about the Omega Key -- and the door it unlocks. Although I know the answers behind many of the series' mysteries due to having watched the TV show first, it was still satisfying to have so many of them resolved right in this one volume.

Clearly we are now gearing up for a final face-off as the Locke children now have (almost) all the information they need to go up against Dodge. I look forward to seeing how it all ends. ( )

Volume 5 gives us the backstory to Keyhouse and how Tyler and Kinsey's dad and uncle came into contact with the keys and how Lucas became Dodge. All Dodge needs now is the Omega key and Tyler and Kinsey are determined to figure out the past and understand the darkness behind the Black Door (um, Shub-Niggurath anyone?).

This excellent volume adds more depth, to an already amazing storyline. ( )

This was great! We finally get to learn more about the history of Keyhouse and the keys, and the pieces are all starting to come together. We also learn more about Zack/Luke/Dodge in the 80s. I feel like this volume has more horror aspects than the others, particularly the first section. It also effectively relays the seriousness of the risks the current Lockes are up against, if it wasn't apparent before. ( )
