Che storia la storia del fumetto argentino!; e poi con Trillo e Saccomanno alla guida, un lungo viaggio nella nona arte vista dall’altra parte del mondo, con la testa all’ingiù; o all’insù. E così partendo dalla metà dell’ottocento, quando Yellow Kid era ancora lì da venire, Trillo e Saccomanno ci prendono per mano in un percorso che disegna con grazia e intelligenza il rapporto tra l’Argentina e il fumetto, un rapporto solido e duraturo, prolifico quanti pochi altri; e da sempre estremamente relazionato con scambi reciproci e contaminazioni con il fumetto italiano; e così tra iniziative editoriali estemporanee e fumetti che hanno fatto la storia della nona arte, da Patoruzù a Hora Certo, da Quinterno a Solinas per giungere a Pratt e a Oesterheld che rappresenta da solo l’incredibile mondo tracciato in questo libro, si immagina quanto da leggere c’è, non basterà una vita, ma questo libro può essere una buona bussola per non perdere la rotta.
