Okay read, Caroline is a school teacher converted to Maja by a court seducer that made her believe they would have a loving future, then dumped her after 'the gift' kicked in. She's been avoiding all the vampires until a vision sends her looking for help and she finds Galahad. He doesn't want to taint her with his hundreds of years of memories and convinces her they have no future. But time and circumstances have different plans. I liked the comic relief of the dragon Soren, but the story was just okay for me.
