Poor little Chu just can't control his sneezes. I would love to read the other Chu books to see what other mischief his sneezes get him into. ( )

Gaiman relies on the same simple storyline as in the previous stories about Chu (will he sneeze and what will it do), but with the added twist of a second sneeze this time around! Chu's first sneeze at the beach parts the ocean - a disaster on all counts, which may be referencing ocean-related global warming or Moses of Biblical fame - but he becomes the hero with a second sneeze that put everything back into place. The beach scenery gives artist Adam Rex a plethora of imagery and animals to work with this time around, and he really out-does himself. The octopus icecream vendor was my personal favourite of his whimsical creatures, but there's literally an animal for everyone from crickets to mer-pandas! ( )

We know about Chu, the little panda with the big sneeze, but will he survive a day at the beach. Will the beach survive a day with Chu. The pictures in this one are fabulous, creative and colorful. A great read along book. ( )
