The Meaning of Birds is an easy read, despite all the emotions involved in the loss of a loved one. The characterizations are good. The story, jumping back and forth between Then--when Jess and Vivi first met and their subsequent journey together and Now-after Vivi's death is a good way to tell the story.
This is a very warm book. I recommend it. ( )
