Back to Arizona and the Alpha's world that Renee Rose and Lee Savino have created. It's a world that I'm happy to be immersed in every time I've read one of these books and I can never wait for the next one to get to see what all these guys are up to.

This time, we have Grizz, a huge grizzly bear shifter, who is on a mission. Then there is Jordy, a very shy, very submissive fox shifter. There's something about her that triggers Grizz's protective instincts, so he steals her away.

I like Grizz, but he's a big old liar. Of course, it's only himself he's lying to, but still, big old liar. I'm surprised his pants aren't on fire from all the lying he's doing. Of course, he would just conquer those firey pants, because he's Grizz. Jordy, AKA Kit, is just a sweet little person. She's been abused and mistreated, but she still believes in love and forever. She's just a great character and a lot stronger than people might think that she is. I hope that we get to see more of Grizz and Jordy in the future, because it kind of feels like Renee Rose and Lee Savino aren't done with them yet. ( )

A very good addition to this series. I really like that the authors are introducing several different species into this shifter compilation. Grizz and Kit had fantastic chemistry. I liked that this story seemed to have more depth to it than the some of the others. It was more fleshed out. I liked the connection they shared and how it ultimately helped them both heal. Looking forward to the next book. There are plenty of secondary characters left that need to tell their story. I am leaning toward wanting a story about the Vampire King. ( )
