While White's examples are mostly from artwork, she is very clear that creativity comes in all mediums: new ideas, solving problems, making and growing all kinds of things, in family and community life, even arranging the sock drawer.
White explains that in creative play, one can identify blocks to creativity in fear and shame, and address ways to overcome them. Her examples from her own life and creative work are striking and concrete, and are perhaps the most effective part of her pamphlet.
There is a wonderful image on the cover, by the author, that really illustrates her message. ( )
