On May 1, 1920, the Boston Braves and Brooklyn Robins battled to a 1-1 tie--after 26 innings, the longest major league game ever. While the Braves-Robins game featured impeccable pitching and fielding, the same cannot be said of the Kansas City Athletics game against the Chicago White Sox on April 22, 1959.
