* "Slow Hands" by Janelle Denison reunites old lovers Tess and Morgan. Tess had left years ago, moving to the city to pursue a career and what was expected of her, wanting to make her grandmother proud. Now her grandmother has died, and Tess is back to get her house fixed up to sell. She hires Morgan to do the work. It's only a matter of time before they both realize they've never stopped loving each other.

* "Color Me Wicked" by Nina Bangs is, I see, part of a series I haven't read.... yet. Sparkle Stardust is training a new Cosmic Troublemaker, Deimos, who's been given the form of a cat. Sparkle's specialty is hooking up two people completely unsuited for each other. Deimos's assignment is to push together decorator Amanda and painter Conleth. The "color" in the title is because Amanda's ideas tend toward neutrals, while Conleth insists on bright colors.

* "The Fixer-Upper" by MaryJanice Davidson is a tale with a clever twist. Cathy is finally a homeowner. Sure, it's a fixer-upper, and comes complete with a ghost, but it's all hers. And the view isn't bad either--her new neighbor Ken is gorgeous. Too bad he's also a jerk.

Then one day he's fixing her chandelier, and is electrocuted. He revives, but seems completely different afterwards.

This story is full of MJD's trademark witty banter, and is a lot of fun. ( )
