This book is a perfect pictorial summary to Buenos Aires – a vibrant, colorful, welcoming, architecturally magnificent city. Well organized into the city’s different neighborhoods, the glossy high resolution photos highlight the key sites in each area. And there are many to highlight! I particularly liked the addition of close-ups and the older including under construction photos. The texts described the history and evolution of each neighborhood, especially the various Europeans who settled in each area. I learned and re-appreciated everything I saw there because of this book.
This particular version was re-printed in 2012. Purchased from a bookstore. ( )
