I'll admit it. I have this whole set, and I own a Kirsten doll. Yes, that's right. And she's pretty. ( )

Kirsten joins her family to move to America from Sweden. She is a pioneer in the 1800's and she learns about a whole new world that she was so excited about.

I really enjoyed this book, I thought that this book brought this period of history to life.

I would use this book in a classroom setting for history , for the pioneer movement.

However, the "Story Collection" is a single hardbound format that is missing the final "Looking Back" chapters of 5 books, while "Kirsten: An American Girl" is a boxed set with 6 individual books.
