I still have an aversion to short stories... ( )

A good review of an old and still in play genre of crime fiction. Mostly old but good with Muller, Pronzini and both MacdDonalds among my favorites. ( )

I liked a lot of the stories in here and it introduced me to some new authors, but I also discovered that noir doesn't just mean wise cracking detectives. Some of these stories were pretty dark. ( )
