This is one of the hardest to find of the remarkable 'Professor Spender' erotic novels, and also perhaps the best. Spender is a down-trodden faculty member in a small US College, surrounded by many other quirky faculty members and a similar number of hot-blooded college girls who lust after them, despite the best efforts of the College management. This book describes a College-sponsored field trip to a site in the Middle East related to the biblical Sodom, and the activity for which that city is best known figures strongly amongst the faculty and students who participate. There are also many odd characters of a uniquely US touristic flavour, and Spender, who is an expert on the region as well as a seasoned practitioner of the erotic arts, has a busy time satisfying all of them. This laconic style and dispassionate approach add hugely to the attraction of the story, which is thereby humorous and entertaining. Well worth seeking out for aficionados of the erotic genre ( )
