Loading... The Chosen (2006)by Sonny Whitelaw, Elizabeth Christensen (Author)
None. The best books of these series come across as an episode that was on too grand a scale to be filmed. And this is surely one of the best of the series. I liked this alot. The story was written like a TV episode. Lots of action and team members in jepardy. A little too much whining by Rodney. That got old. no reviews | add a review

I enjoyed it too - Stargate books are my cheer me up books when life is getting depressing and this did cheer me up.
I got a bit lost with the running around at the end - much easier to follow that sort of thing on TV.
But the authors had mostly nailed the characters - as they were at the end of Season 1 anyway, before the group had cohesion and trust in each others abilities.
Yes Rodney complains a lot but he's still the most interesting character in the series. And as usual saves the day but gets some arrogance knocked off too. (
