Courier de Bois (Woods Ranger) by Randall Probert
The first self-published book that I've read. Very poor writing. Obvious with poor transitions. However, the storyline was unique (French trapper, WWII naval engineer, Maine Game Warden, reincarnation) with times and places rarely written about. In the hands of a gifted writer a number of short stories could be made from this. I did finish it which says something.
