Small bookelt that give an excellent overview of the history of Father Michael J. McGiveney. He was a 29-year-old assistant pastor at St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Conn., when he founded the Knights of Columbus in 1882. Father McGivney's holiness, devotion to priestly ministry and work to protect family life provide a powerful spiritual influence for Knights, their family members and a growing number of other Catholics.

Included is a brief overview of the founding of the Knights of Columbus, which took place in the basement of this Church. It was this organization that was instrumental in the Churches renovation.
