The Boy from Seville (Kar-Ben for Older Readers) by Dorit Orgad
Although the writing is a bit stilted and the story resolves all too neatly and happily, this story of a young Jewish boy and his family, disguised as Christians in 17th century Spain is facscinating. The horrors of the Inquisition are portrayed without touching the main characters.
