Good general survey of the range of artillery pieces, self-propelled guns and prime movers used by the Italian military in World War II. If you're interested in artillery of the period and/or the Italian Army in general you'll not be disappointed with this book. I could mark it down for not offering a bit more insight into Italian artillery doctrine but examination of doctrine is not a typical preoccupation of this publisher. I am a little surprised that there aren't any color profiles of show more AFVs and tractors, as well-done profiles are one of the things this publisher IS noted for. There are sufficient details of order of battle assignments of specific types of guns that one might also wish that this information was presented in tabular form; then again, the focus is on the guns themselves. show less
