The board book format means that this one can be passed down and passed around. The excellent choices of extraordinary women and simplified explanations means that there is an excellent opportunity for embellishing what is written. Also, this is a good book for ESL! They are an inspiration to us all! And the illustrations are impressive, as well. I plan to buy one for my local library, too.
I requested and received a temporary digital ARC of this book from Rebel Girls via NetGalley in show more exchange for an honest review. Thank you! show less
This is children's book that I picked up this morning on haunted hotels... I wasn't looking for words, but there it was!

It is easy to read, interesting, lists 12 different Hotels & their hauntings from around the world. Not too gruesome that children would become frightened.
This book is an adaptation for babies of [b:Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: 100 Tales of Extraordinary Women|33016249|Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls 100 Tales of Extraordinary Women|Elena Favilli|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1572977041l/33016249._SX50_.jpg|53652027], delivered to us by Rebel Girls - a global, multi-platform empowerment brand dedicated to helping raise the most inspired and confident generation of girls. This statement alone show more should be enough to convince anyone to pick this book for any toddler you might have in your life.

This book briefly tells us the story of a diverse group of curious, ambitious, powerful and non-conformist women who dared to be more, accompanied by beautiful illustrations. I am glad these stories are available to help us show our little girls they can be anything they dream.

The book is targeted for babies with 0 to 3 years old but I consider it a better fit for 2 to 4 years old, obviously depending on the kids interests.

Thank you Rebel Girls and Edelweiss for making this book available for an honest review.

Summary: This books talks about 11 ghost towns from all around the world. These towns have been abandoned, some under mysterious circumstances. Some of these towns seem to have some inhabitants, though. Ghosts!

Personal Reaction: Interesting book. Definitely makes me want to read even more stories about ghost towns!

Classroom Extension Ideas:
1. Pick a ghost town and learn more about the culture and history of the people in that town
2. Find a ghost town not listed in the book and write your own show more description about it
3. Have students write their own ghost story about whatever they want
