Wow. Just wow. This may have been my favorite Wonder Woman story ever. Wonder Woman finds herself in a post apocalyptic Earth with no idea what's happened. Forced to piece together the tragic story of how the apocalyptic was brought forth we see Wonder Woman attempt to help the survivors
while wrestling with her own tragic past. As the story unfolds, we get shock after shock. The art work is gritty and the story is bleak yet hopeful. I plan to purchase this, it was that good.

A gonzo supernatural professional wrestling romp with a soul!
Lona Steelrose teams up with the masked wrestler who killed her mother in the ring for a chance at resurrecting her mom in a necromancer's other-worldly tag-team tournament. Along the way she confronts her self doubts and her estranged father, but mostly it is pure wrestling MAYHEM!!!
Goofy, kinetic fun with some emotional gut punches.

As dad puts the mad in mutual assured destruction, his kids must have found an old Charlton Peacemaker comic book in the ruins of their broken world because now they love peace so much they're willing to fight for it.
The conclusion gets too mired in cliches and all the slam-bang action can't carry me past it -- though it does put in a tremendous effort.

Did you see that scene in the most recent season of Stranger Things where the guy plays guitar on the roof of a trailer in the Upside Down as bat creatures swirl around? This comic is basically 200 pages of that.
Despite withdrawing from everyone he loves due to depression from a personal tragedy, Jake is yanked back into the world, drafted to fight monsters from another dimension by using his heavy metal guitar licks to pump up the hit and attack points of a giant falcon with a mechanical show more arm and a murderous hatred of monsters.
Meant to be read fast, preferably with lots of heavy metal music blasting in the background, it's sort of dumb but also very fun. show less
