NCLA Review: This slender volume of prayers for preschoolers uses the theme of imagining in order to link a feeling (“Lord, if I’m sad”) to a response (“- I imagine I’m a seed curled up close in the arms of the earth and know that soon the sun will come out to warm me.” The prayers are lovingly illustrated by award-winning Mique Moriuchi. While some of the prayer statements verged on the precious, on the whole the book was a gentle and comforting work that young children will show more respond well to. Rating: 3—KLF show less
