Queenie and Noah giving me enemies to lovers' vibes are yummy. However, it is nothing compared to the sweet and tender moments that these two shared.

Queenie having Noah sign a contract is funny. It made me think of Lara Jean and Peter signing an agreement in To All the Boys I've Loved Before.

I love Noah calling Queenie "Hellcat and Desi girl". He is a real sweetheart. When Noah shared about caring for his mom when she had cancer, that just pulled at my heartstrings. Queenie was not as show more comfortable showing off her curves in the beginning with Noah. Yet, the way he looked at her, gave her so much confidence that Queenie found her groove.

I loved the roommates, Ares and Fox. They were a very nice addition to this story. So excited that this is not the last of the gang as I was not ready to say goodbye. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this book today. You will love it.

I LOVED THIS BOOK, BUT IT WAS A TAD TOO LONG! I loved that Lily made the right choice by breaking up with her abusive boyfriend once she discovered that she was pregnant! She flew back to California to her brother where she knew that she would be safe and ten years later learned that he was dead. I liked that Kit took care of his clients and employees as he owned a martial arts gym. I did not like when he learned that he had a step brother and was upset with his adopted parents. I never read show more the first two books of the series. show less
Aarti V. Raman is a self-proclaimed incurable romantic. She has written several contemporary romance books, and her latest, The Soldier Prince, will make this already hot summer even hotter. This is the first book of her new series, and she sets the bar quite high.

Alexander Henrickson abandoned his royal lifestyle to become a soldier. After years in combat, he retires from military life to become a construction worker in New York City, deciding to live a simple life instead of going home. show more Sasha Ray works at the diner Alex frequents. Sasha works two jobs while also trying to get a degree in teaching.

One evening, a homeless man comes into the diner to urge Sasha to warn Alex that there are men looking for him. So she goes, believing he's in mortal danger. From there things go from bad to worse. And before you know it, Sasha is on a plane with Alex heading for his homeland of Stellangård for her own safety. Sasha knows that any attraction she feels towards Alex will be in vain. A relationship between the two will never work out, yet she can't fight her feelings.

The Soldier Prince reminded me a bit of Beauty and the Beast, in the fact that Sasha is kept against her will and there's a huge library that would make any bookworm fall in love. But right now seems to be the perfect time for Royal Romances, especially on the heals of a certain royal couple who just tied the knot. Alex and Sasha have great chemistry. Their situation seems impossible, but I still couldn't help cheering for them. But of course, this is a romance so you know the characters are going to get their Happily Ever After.

I enjoyed this novel. The characters had great chemistry. There was enough emotional turmoil to keep me satisfied. And of course, the ending was worth it all. Raman's style breaths some fresh air into this popular genre that will have you eagerly waiting for the next book in this series.

Book Title: The Worst Daughter Ever
Author: Aarti V Raman
Format: Paperback

Book Title:
The title of the book ' The Worst Daughter Ever ' is very different and mysterious

Book Cover:
The cover image of the book is clip art of a young woman near a dresser with things in a haphazard manner.

Plot:
The story is about Lasya or LJ as in the story who doesn't fit for the so-called today's society which is made up of all stupid taboos. She is chubby, lazy and with a minimal job that helps her keep herself show more happy. and lives alone in Mumbai. The sudden death of her grandmother makes her story completely different and thus her life changes drastically. She finds her love interest in an unusual manner, she understands the real faces of her family members and many things go on.

The story is all about her experiences and how does she deal with the ruckus.

4. The story looks very relatable

What I didn't like:
The story is very witty and interesting that I didn't find any drawbacks. Maybe for some readers, the story may look lengthy.

Characters:
All the characters in the story are written with extreme wit, fun, emotions, and honesty. The readers can relate some of them with their own people around their lives.

Narration:
The narration in the story is funny, warming and interesting. The human feelings are very well showcased be it between the family members or a couple or siblings.

Language & Grammar:
Easy, clear and colloquial language is used in the book.
