I am at odds with myself.
On one hand, I am torn trying to be nice, and fair to the author but, on the other hand, I am just thankful it finally ended.
Honestly, I think, if it was going to be as long as it was, it should have been broken down into three books instead of just two.
I struggled through so many errors through out the whole book, and I understand that English isn't the authors first language but, the errors made had nothing to do with that. Words were missing... wrong words were show more used... I wish my tablet could take highlights and screenshots that would share to GR what I am referring too so that you all would understand. Alas, my tablet sucks kittens.
The whole plot was soooo drawn out, I fell asleep so many times but, I fought on. And I FINALLY finished the series...duet, whatever...
I am happy that the couple got their HEA it just took too long. The author dragged out the story, way too much... and the blackmailer, their story was just too vague and boring.
Sure there are twists and such but, there should have been more explanation about the secret "friends" and what their involvement was in the completion of the story.
And explain how the father dies, etc... I was completely lost after that... Also, why the hell was ZAIN there, to pull him off his father? No one explained that either...
I wish I could have liked this duet... the first book was better but, still had errors, and just detachment.
I feel bad that I left a low mark but, at the same time, I am so happy it's over with. show less

4 starts because the writing was good. The relationship was exhausting. The book was too long. They fought until 90% of the book. The FMC hated the MMC mostly and the MMC taunted her even though he loved her. It was tiring to read. 8 year mostly separated engagement and 1 year seperation at the end. Huh
