I enjoyed reading about life issues, especially the section on what makes people happy. The author discusses the chronology of thinking on many topics, and often the differences that have evolved in other cultures. Many of the topics involve ethics, some involve contrasts between rational problem solving versus faith in addressing common issues and how this varies both geographically with culture, and in time.
