As with the earlier series which we have rewatched over the past couple of years, we had forgotten almost everything in series 7 too. This was broadcast in two separate parts, with each episode complete in itself.

In the first part of series 7, Amy and Rory are settled in their home, but still find themselves travelling with the Doctor. The five episodes in this part include daleks which have gone insane, dinosaurs with an Egyptian queen, a wild west town in the US, and some mysterious black show more boxes that start to appear...

Then the fifth episode is the very powerful one called 'The angels take Manhattan', which is even more complex than most time-wise, but also very moving.

Highly recommended.

Enjoyable with great special effects. The first two episodes of the season, Asylum of the Daleks and Dinosaurs on a Spaceship are the best. Sadly, all the epsidodes start off well, but have weak endings.
An alien travels through space and time with a human couple.

I don't find any of the individual episodes to be particularly remarkable (at least not compared to what the show was doing a few years ago); the best ones fall apart at the end when the plot holes are brushed aside with babble. But the tone of the show is back to the old standard of fun and adventure, and I'm back to being Unreasonably Excited about watching it.
