This is a wonderful collection of classic holiday stories. Children's versions of A Christmas Carol, The Nutcracker, The Snow Queen and a couple of others.I especially love that almost all the stories rhyme. This book is a wonderful read-aloud for the Christmas season. =)
I made a connection with this book because it shows a Momma cat and her baby bonding. Just makes me think about how my son and I o a lot of bonding when we are at home. But also, it reminds me of when I bond with my students who need a little more extra love.
A compilation of all the must have holiday greats, along with a beginning story about the first Christmas and the birth of Jesus. If you only had one Christmas book in your library, this should be it!
I'm afraid I find the illustrations a bit pedestrian. An OK illustration of the well-known carol.
