George Joseph Bell (1770–1843)

The 1839 publication of Principles of the law of Scotland by George Bell is the 4th Edition and the last edition he edited before he passed away. Therefore this edition is considered the most authoritative in the practice of Scots Law. Many recent publications of other areas of scots law still reference this edition in 2022.
